1.6 billion people around the world have no access to electricity, 2.4 billion use sources of energy that are harmful to the environment and human health. Many companies have the technologies and know-how to change this, but they lack market access and the right business models.
At the workshop, the participants will use the “Energy Business Model Generator” and, together with experts, develop own business models to supply households and businesses in developing countries with safe and affordable energy.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to attend the BoP energy sector dialogue, a public event organized by GTZ on behalf of the BMZ, on the evening of December 1st. Here energy companies will share their successful business models in emerging and developing countries.
Participation fee until September 1st: 480,- Euro, afterwads 780,- Euro
